The Oldcastle Agricultural Show is an annual event that was first held in 1904. The 2019 show is the 80th time that the local committee have organised this great day out for all the family. The main events of this agricultural show are the judging of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, dogs, and home industries and there are also trade stands and vintage machinery and many other attractions including sheep shearing competitions. The Oldcastle Agricultural Show attracts visitors from every county in Ireland.
