The event is organized by the City Hall of Calarasi.
During the 2-3 days of the festival, there are concerts of classical and folkloric music, concerts by local artists and guest folk ensembles; Parade of guests and folk ensembles, different games for children as well as presentations of Romanian and Calaras ports and traditions. These are the main activities, but from year to year we always try to come up with something new.

Pitfalls and challenges
The event being organized by the City Hall of Calarasi, from public funds, is organized to the extent these funds exist. Also the existence of this festival depends a lot on the decision makers. Continuity due to elections cannot be assured when those with decision-making power are changed. There have been years when, due to the lack of funds, it was no longer held.,
Opportunities and plans for the future
In 2020 we will have elections at Calarasi City Hall. We hope that the new team will value the existence of this event and will be able to conclude more collaborations with sponsors so that we can increase this possibility to promote our traditions and values.
