Recycle with Fantasy
It is a festival which will be held for the first time. The event is under the Municipality of Burgas and will be focused on recycling - this really topical theme but this time with a tint of art. It's called RECYCLE WITH FANTASY. The event will be held on 31.05 - 01.06 in Burgas. Its organization is perhaps one of the most interesting parts, for the time being, because it brings together many different people and institutions, and is quite cross-disciplinary.
It will include the University Branch Campus of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas, the Municipality, companies dealing with waste recycling. Both children and adults will participate in it. One of the days is aimed at the children, and the other one - at the grown-ups. We have planned to organize entertaining children’s workshops as well as one of their most favourable events: the so-called Junk Party. Shown will be costumes made of recyclable materials.

We expect 2-3000 people to join that festival in one way or another - as audience or as active participants, but each passer-by can be turned into an active one, who will learn something new and later apply in practice what they saw in their attitude to waste.
Opportunities and plans for the future
The real value of this festival is that it is extremely important to draw the attention to both adolescents and adults that recycling should be encouraged now because, as we all know, rubbish is everywhere, and the plastic overwhelms us at every corner. But if we use it properly it can be turned into something very beautiful, and some of these things can bring back money.
We hope this event will take place annually, or at least several times, since it includes things that can be upgraded. Even our attitude towards recycling if not encouraged over time, and if we do not learn something new, will naturally not be adequate. It is not of significance whether such an event is unique in itself because its activity is more important; it is more important to involve more local people, as they will learn something new and we hope they will catch it and continue applying it in their everyday life.
